Drawing on 35 years of experience in the equine industry, we use technology developed in the USA including our revolutionary environmental system. which controls our grow lights, watering sequence, lighting, temperature, humidity levels and every molecule of air inside.

Most tradition feed sources can be as low as 50% digestible. That grain you are seeing in the manure is undigested and is actually YOUR MONEY sitting on the ground. Fresh sprouts are tested to over 95% digestive which ensures that it is being almost fully utilised by the animal giving you maximum value for money!

WHAT ARE FRESH SPROUTS?
Fresh sprouts are the colloquial name for grains that are sprouted and form a thick, nutritious feed source for feeding livestock. It is believed to be first used by nomads centuries ago to feed travelling herds. 

CAN SPROUTS REPLACE ALL OTHER FEED?
We recommend that in most cases fresh sprouts can be used in conjunction with a balanced feeding program. It can most certainly replace a large amount of existing feed and significantly reduce costs in most cases. 

HOW CAN I ORDER FRESH SPROUTS?
Simply by giving us a call and we will include you on our daily route. We deliver daily to your barn so you are feeding fresh, 365 days a year. 

HOW MUCH SHOULD I FEED MY HORSES?

We currently recommend that you commence your horse on 10lbs per day. This can replace some of the existing diet of grain or hay. This can be increased to as much as 80% of the horses diet over time. 

WHAT GRAINS ARE SPROUTED TO MAKE GRASS?
After 20 years of trial and error, we recommend barley as the best for feeding livestock. We have also had success with certain varieties of wheat and good results can be achieved by blending both.  

DOES IT COST ME TO HAVE IT DELIVERED?
All costs are inclusive of delivery directly to your barn.  

CAN I FEED OTHER ANIMALS AS WELL?
Yes, the generally accepted standard is 2% - 3% of their body weight per day.  Grow Cube will work with you to develop feeding programs to suit your individual requirements. 

ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS OF FEEDING FRESH?
Absolutely not, sprouted barley is a natural product and the only side effects will be positive. 

HOW LONG DOES THE SPROUTING PROCESS TAKE?
Generally, it takes 4 ~5 days on the trays to grow from seed to beautiful fresh grass.

SOME OF MY HORSES ARE PICKY EATERS, WILL THIS HELP?

Sprouts are  tremendous for horses that go off their feed and greatly assists with digestion of grain and hay. 

ARE FRESH SPROUTS HEALTHY FOR MY HORSE?
Sprouts are the healthiest thing you can feed to any horse. If you'd like to see your horses coat shine, a dramatic change in attitude and a reduction in ulcer medication, you may like to give fresh sprouts a try.  

WHAT PART DO THE ANIMALS EAT?
The animals eat the entire biscuit including the root mat. Nothing is left in the feed trough. Its 95% digestible and 100% consumable.

HOW ARE SPROUTS PRODUCED?
Grain is placed onto the trays using a seeding tool and after 4 days, the system is ready for daily harvest. Our hydroponic system does all the work. Only the freshest and healthiest grass is grown in our systems.
